In 2002 Terry Opalek had a revelation: it was time he rediscovered his grandmother's toffee. Consulting his Aunt Jenne Louise, Terry learned and perfected this treasured family secret. Soon, countless friends and loved ones were requesting more and more toffee. Terry and his partner Michael Frontier realized that they were onto something good and began selling the toffee thru gourmet food stores.

Grandmother's recipe became the basis for McCall's Classic. But Terry was also drawn to the tastes and textures of other cultures. He was inspired to include ingredients never before joined with toffee. Today, infusions such as chai spices, French lavender, Madagascar vanilla, Australian ginger and crushed wasabi peas have absolutely transformed toffee.

Following their intuition, Terry and Michael opened their sweetshop in Chicago in 2005.

Terry's toffee is now enjoyed from California to New York. It has received countless honors, and has been included in the 2005, 2006 & 2007 ® Academy Awards.

In the future, Terry's Toffee has plans to expand the positive energy generated by this remarkable toffee to make the world a better place.
